Thank you, Jackie, for asking me to join you as a blogger on this site! My name is Leslie, aka angelicmoonfairy, and you can find me at my wordpress site
here. But I'm very excited to be here with Jackie and wanted to begin with a reading.
I've been hit with a cold virus this week but have been feeling better today. This week has been a healing week for me and for others too, I assume. I've nestled in bed and tried to stay away from others so as to not give anyone my cold. I've spent most of my time reading books, doing word searches, petting my cats and sleeping. Laying low and resting. Letting my energy rejuvenate it's self so that I will feel better. I've drank a ton of water. It's like I can't drink enough. For food it's been mostly soup and crackers. I'm glad I did do all of that because today I actually do feel better. My daughter is in the church musical this weekend with three performances this weekend. I need to be on the up and up in order to be mom this weekend.
I picked a card while asking the question, "What does A Blast of Positive blog peeps most need to know and see right now?" The card that dropped out was "JOY". This made sense to me because joy is where it's at. It's what makes things manifest. It's what makes our heart sing. It feels good.
Here is some of what the book says about joy: "Joy is the natural state of the spiritually ordered person. Joy is the inner understanding that all things are held in the loving embrace of God and the angels, and that a meaningful explanation or learning will emerge that will ultimately benefit us all."
Here is a prayer from the book: "Dear Heavenly Teachers, allow me to believe in the rightness and goodness of life even when I see too much of the opposite. Permit me to bring love into the world even when my first response is to doubt love. Accept my life as a means of service to the Universe so that joy may abound on earth and within each living thing."
I hope your day and weekend are filled with joy. May each moment bring you joy knowing that life is so very precious, special and wonderful. EnJOY the holiday time and find the wonder and merriment in it all. Let the rest go.
