Sometimes we have to confront a negative situation though and so having positive people who draw out the best in you will help you to face reality rather then stay in denial.
Ok so here's my experience:
Positive people draw out the best in you and in those moments when the wounds are coming out they offer you words of wisdom, hugs from the heart, healing and comfort, friendship and support to change.
Negative people confuse you with their actions, words, and the situations that they place you in. They draw out what is wrong with you and perpetuate it rather then help you consciously heal and change it and turn that weakness into strength.
You know these people by their fruits.
You can't always assume that their "role" is an automatic given of who they are to you. I've met "church people" who don't live up to the standards they have for others. I've seen "non church people" live the gospel authentically and never have read the bible or care to.
So here's the blast of positive energy for today: be mindful of who you are around lately and notice what these people draw out of you naturally.
I ask Christ to make you a blessing to whoever crosses your path today :)
